LOVE MY______ Isaac Mizrahi Live! Scarf Set

We’re so excited to introduce you to Love My, a brand new web series giving you a peek at what we love most from the Q. From a scarf to a blender, a cardigan to a blush, we want to get the word out on our current obsessions. Today? We can’t get enough of spring scarves!

Who says scarves need to be relegated to your winter wardrobe? Lightweight fabrics and sunny prints make them totally wearable for summer (yes, even poolside!). We put together a video showing you how to style scarves for this season, and we’re sure you’ll be surprised by just how versatile they can be!

I have been known to wear scarves year-round, mainly because they are my multi-purpose wardrobe staple. They go everywhere with me and do just about everything. Need a pillow on the plane?  Looking for an instant outfit update? Go for a scarf!

We co-hosted a mom blogger event with QVC, and we gave the Isaac Mizrahi Live! Floral & Stripe Set of Two Scarves as a thank you  gift to a bunch of stylish mommies. Of course, I snagged one set for myself and I’ve been wearing them ever since!

I especially love mine for trips to the park with my little (actually, not so little at 28 pounds!) Ashvin. Yes, after I get tired I lay it down on the grass to plop down and relax. If you know you’ll be playing, pushing strollers and picnicking, you don’t have to abandon your style! Stay casual, and wrap a scarf to add a dash of color. See how I turn a regular scarf into an infinity one with just one knot? It’s fuss free.

Jenna takes a different approach, making a relaxed scarf totally office appropriate. On her way to work, she wraps and knots a floral scarf to pull together a streamlined office look – pencil skirt, striped t-shirt, blazer, pointed-toe pumps (it’s all about pointed toe shoes these days) and slicked chignon. Perfection!

You generally think of shedding layers when catching rays, right? You can still rock your scarf sans clothing (keep the bathing suit on though, please). En route to the pool, Lindsey wears two scarves twisted as one. I saw this look in a photo online and made Lindsey my guinea pig. It would be great to try this with two solid scarves that are different colors.  By the water, Alix looks chic shielding the sun and protecting her tresses by wearing a striped scarf as a headwrap, while Lindsey uses hers to accessorize her sun hat.

So, how will you style your scarf this summer? Check out our Pinterest board for inspiration, and see how our staffers style theirs! Then, send us the names of your favorite products and how you use them. Your pick may just be featured in a video!
